Make Space is a Monmouth County based professional organizing company that specializes in custom organization solutions for busy families. We serve Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex counties in New Jersey, but we are happy to travel across the state of New Jersey to serve you.
Meet The Team
Meet Shannon
Founder & Lead Organizer
Shannon Littlehale started Make Space in 2021. Since then, she has helped dozens of families regain control over their homes through decluttering and organization. Prior to organizing, Shannon was an administrator and store manager. In these roles, she honed her skills of organizing and creating simple and functional systems. She has a BA in Spanish from Monmouth University.
Shannon and her husband, Matt, live in Long Branch, New Jersey with their two school age daughters and 3 cats.
FUN FACTS
Shannon went to West Long Branch schools her whole life - Kindergarten through College! (aside from a short stint in pre-k in Oakhurst)
She enjoys gardening and has dreams of a large cut flower garden in her yard.
Shannon is a maximalist at heart and loves to spend hours wandering around antique centers and thrift stores.
Meet Sam
Assistant Organizer
FUN FACTS
Before Sam had kids, she took Improv class at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC for years and secretly wants to do it again.
Sam and Shannon started a customizable chocolate bark company called yummybark, but then both got pregnant and couldn’t stand the smell of chocolate, so that was that.
Sam and her husband are those weird Zillow-obsessed people who constantly look for properties all over the world and plan to buy a cheap chateau with outbuildings in the south of France and blow this popsicle stand.
Sam is a client turned assistant after she saw the transformative effect that organizing systems had on her household. As a mom of two girls, Sam understands that organization is a process that needs to click for each individual, and helps clients see what works for them. She also keeps Shannon laughing while getting the heavy lifting done, so it’s always a fun work day for us!
Meet Kathleen
Assistant Organizer
Kathleen loves helping people organize so that they can have more time and space for the things that matter most in life, like time spent with others! As a mom of two young kids, she knows first-hand how much our stuff, when not orderly, can make us feel inundated, overwhelmed and stressed. She loves getting to know clients through hearing the stories behind the “stuff”.
In her free time Kathleen loves spending time with her husband and kids, being outdoors, reading and finding great coffee shops.
FUN FACTS
Kathleen lives in the house she grew up in (talk about a lot of stuff!)
She has a love for all animals, especially her dog Lando and two cats Willow and Pounce.
